Overview
Is an ancient Egyptian burial site, it served as the principal necropolis for the queens and royal family members of the New Kingdom period.
It features numerous tombs, including those of the Great Royal Wives, princesses, and lesser-known members of the royal family. The tombs are often smaller than those in the Valley of the Kings but still include elaborate decorations and inscriptions.
