Overview
Are two massive stone statues, they are famous for their grand size and historical significance. Each statue stands approximately 18 meters (59 feet) tall and weighs about 720 tons.
One of the statues, known as the “Vocal Memnon,” was renowned in antiquity for producing a mysterious sound at dawn, which was later discovered to be a natural acoustic phenomenon caused by temperature changes.
